It's Friday, our last full day on the barge.  The plan for the day is to cruise to our final mooring spot in Pont d'Ouche.  .  After lunch, we will go into Beaune to visit the 15th century hospice.  Upon our return, we will have our farewell dinner.
Entering the small harbor at Pont d'Ouche.
If we're there, it must be time for lunch.
A slight change for lunch today.  No quiche.  We are having soup, three salads, a hot dish and a fish entree that Tadek is carmelizing on each plate.  Also, there is only one cheese today because it is a special Fromage Blanc.

Lunch is done so it's off to Beaune to visit the hospice and the town.

The hospice was built around 1443 as a hospital and refuge for the poor following the 100 years war.  It continued operation until the late 1970s.  Now it is maintained as a museum.

And some beautiful stained glass windows

The multi-colored roof is relatively new - early 1900s.  The slate roof is old.
